TriCon Builders completed a full renovation for Go Burrito’s Johnson City location, transforming a historic downtown structure into a vibrant, multi-zone restaurant. The project focused on creating four unique yet connected experiences—an outdoor bar and seating area, an indoor bar and lounge, a sit-down dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fast-casual service line. Each space was designed to support the franchise’s energetic, island-inspired brand while ensuring an efficient operational flow from entry to service.

The outdoor seating and bar area provides an open-air gathering spot with colorful furniture, string lighting, and a fully retractable service window that connects directly to the indoor bar. TriCon reinforced and finished the existing structure to support this semi-covered space, blending the original brick with new finishes to create a relaxed, coastal atmosphere right on the sidewalk.
Inside, the bar and lounge area serves as the social hub of the restaurant. Exposed brick, industrial ductwork, and warm lighting set the tone, while custom bar millwork and a large service counter anchor the room. The layout supports high-volume beverage service, with room for seating, high-tops, and direct access to the outdoor bar through a full-width roll-up window.
The main dining area was designed with durable finishes and flexible seating to handle steady customer flow. Natural wood tables, bright accent colors, and mural walls give the room a playful, energetic feel. TriCon preserved the open-concept ceiling and original textures, enhancing the character of the building while delivering a welcoming, family-friendly dining experience.
TriCon delivered a complete commercial kitchen installation built around Go Burrito’s fast-casual service model. The project included a new cook line, updated ventilation, refrigeration, prep areas, storage, and a custom quick-service counter with sneeze guards and menu display integration. Workflow from prep to service was planned to keep pace with high-volume burrito and bowl production.
The completed project brings together four distinct zones into one cohesive restaurant experience, supporting both the franchise’s brand and day-to-day operational needs. From the outdoor bar to the indoor lounge, from the main dining area to the efficient kitchen and service line, TriCon Builders delivered a lively, functional space designed to handle crowds and create a memorable atmosphere for guests.
